Who We are

Excel College is a co-educatonal day and boarding school of international standard. The vision of Excel College is conceived to provide sound international education in an atmosphere of strong moral upbringing for young Nigerians and the international community. The standard has been maintained over the years, with a continual improvement of infrastructure. Outstanding teachers, top professionals and committed support staff are engaged to actualize this vision that has been producing standout students and leaders for the country.

Journey To Success

EXCEL COLLEGE is a co-educational secondary school that was established through the Grace of God in September, 1995 with 24 students. Lady K. O. Oke (KSS) has been the Principal since inception till date. She was for more than two decades in the service of Lagos state Ministry of Education and retired early as a School Principal at the level of an Assistant Director of Education. Her husband Sir E. S. Oke (KSS); an accomplished and astute industrialist is the Proprietor. Their commitment to the School has been extraordinary; therefore it is not surprising that the project that took off with only 24 students, has witnessed tremendous growth in students’ enrollment over the years. The growth is has a result of full confidence and support of parents, alongside  an effective management team and sincerity of purpose. The adage that says, “a successful farm demands the personal attention of the owner” is extremely true of Excel College.

The College has well equipped Laboratories, I.C.T Centre, Basic Technology Workshop, Creative Art Studio, Home Economics Laboratory, Business Studies Centre, Language Room as well as good sporting facilities.

The results of external examination both at the JSCE and SSCE levels have continued to be a source of inspiration to the stake holders (parents, management, staff and students).

The focus is not only to develop the cognitive domain of our students but to enhance their psychomotor and affective attainments and to prepare them for self-reliance. Our participation in co-curricular activities with brilliant results is on record as the College features in quiz, debating and sporting activities with other first class schools within and outside Lagos State regularly.

Our philosophy of sound education under an atmosphere of strong moral upbringing with religious values continue to be an essential aspect of our cardinal guide.
